Phase Aligner. Bring back the drum body that phase was eating.
Phase Aligner - by Harmovant AudioOne instance on each drum mic. Press LEARN during soundcheck and Phase Aligner finds the delay and polarity of every mic against the overheads, then freezes them for the show. Zero latency in LIVE mode.
Sales open together with Harmovant Audio Hub, the free app for Harmovant account holders that installs and activates every plugin. Leave your e-mail and we will tell you on launch day.

The phase problem you hear, but cannot see.
Every mic hears the kit at a different time
Close mics and overheads sit at different distances. Summed, they cancel part of the low end and the kick and snare lose their body.
Fixed in seconds, not by ear
LEARN measures the delay and polarity of every mic in one pass of the soundcheck, with a confidence score for each one.
Nothing changes during the show
After LEARN the values are frozen. No adaptive surprises on stage, only the kit sounding the way it did at soundcheck.
How it works
One instance per mic
Insert it first on every drum mic. The instances find each other inside the host: no routing, no sidechain.
Roles and partners
Overheads are the reference and never move. Each mic aligns to them or to a partner: snare bottom to snare top, kick out to kick in.
LEARN in soundcheck
4, 8 or 16 seconds of the drummer playing. Each mic is analysed on its own drum hits, with a confidence score; low confidence is never applied.
Frozen for the show
Values are saved with the session. Nothing adapts during the show, and any change is crossfaded.
Low-end rotation
Optional phase rotation from 30 to 400 Hz, applied only when it really adds low end.
See and hear it
Correlation display with alternative peaks you can audition, a cancellation map before and after, and live phase meters per mic.
Built for the pressure of a show
LIVE or HQ
LIVE only delays mics forward, at zero latency, which is what the physics of a stage asks for. HQ also moves mics earlier, with latency reported to the host.
Follows your channel names
Each instance takes the name of its track or channel, in Live Rack and in hosts that send it.
Measured on a real kit
On a live multitrack, the kit sum gained about 5 dB at 126 and 252 Hz: the body that was cancelling came back.
Runs on any AU or VST3 host and was built side by side with Live Rack, the Harmovant live plugin console. Live Rack →

About Stage Pass →Frequently asked questions
When can I buy it?
Sales open together with Harmovant Audio Hub. We do not have a date yet: leave your e-mail on this page and you will be the first to know.
What happens if I do not renew updates?
Nothing stops: the plugin keeps working forever on the last version released during your updates year. Renewing (US$ 4.90/year, optional) only unlocks the newer versions.
Does it cut the audio if the license has a problem during a show?
Never in the middle of a show. Licenses are checked without internet, and any action waits for a safe moment, with clear warnings days before.
Buy the plugin or get Stage Pass?
Buy it if you want one or two plugins for good. Stage Pass is better if you want all of them, plus every new Harmovant plugin as soon as it comes out.
